i disagree. his story is too great, complex and unique to be ruined by a 'micheal jackson died in his sleep at 85 years of age' this was the perfect death, or else he would of lost all of his genius and mysticism.
Maybe it fit his story, but he still had so much potential, and it was just too soon. You have to admit, 50 is too young to die. His death was just so shocking and surreal. But, hey, it's your opinion.
At any rate, he will never be forgotten.

Death is always sad, but it's even sadder when it happens to someone who isn't really ready for it
RIP MJ

I really agree with you. Sudden deaths are probably the worst kind. Like when my grandmama died, she died real suddenly and it was just like part of me thought it was a screwed up nightmare. But when our "inherited oldster" died, it too was really sad beyond words, but his health had been failing so we knew it was coming. If you know it's coming, you can kinda prepare for it, but if it's sudden, it just really hits you like a ton of bricks.
RIP Michael Jackson, Grandmama, and Mr. Arthur.

but micheal jackson was a story, its not even worth considering him a person because the story overshadows everything. he was too big, too brilliant (in his quirky ways), too dark. damn, i would dare say that there has never been, during the existence of man, a story, a man like this.
you said it: he was 50. do you think he still had what it took to live on his legacy? consider that by the time we are 30 we don´t have 2% of creativity we were originally born with, imagine as time goes by.
i do agree, being human and all, that easily he could have lived another 50 years. on the other hand, that would have not been the micheal jackson we love and cherish today.
what i mean by that is the life that micheal jackson lived could have been controversial and excessive, but that is what made micheal jackson who he was. for every action there is a reaction and physically he couldn't keep on. i guess i'm saying i believe in destiny.
hell, if he lived another 30 years i doubt that he would have gotten as much attention as today, but i do agree with you: what ever the ending to the story, jackson will live on forever.
I do see your point, but it also makes me think of the loved ones I've lost, and how I wish I'd had more time with them. And it's just weird, him being gone. The first night it didn't even set in.
